You need to look at what colors the foods are presented in. There is a need to avoid bland, one colored foods. But variety in color helps to keep everyone’s appetite stimulated. This is best delivered by vegetables and fruits.

You can avoid the stress that goes into calorie counting by sticking to simple meals. There is so much balance you can achieve without needing to do all those calorie counting calculations. You need to only look at the portions and what food groups appear in each meal. Make a point of having in there foods you enjoy to eat. You need to also introduce these changes to your diet gradually. Drastic changes are what lead to a relapse of poor eating habits. You did not start eating poorly overnight either.

You need to also make room for snacks and other treats. You also, need to have a plan of how you shall take cakes, ice cream and chocolate. If there is no plan, you will end up abusing them.

You need to also check how you relate to this new change. For you to have success, you need a good attitude as much as the plan. A positive attitude is a sure sign of victory.
